MLPS School Board okays Platinum Level 2016 Chamber dues
The lists of coaches, and volunteers, for winter season extra-curricular activities was approved by the Mountain Lake Public School (MLPS) School Board at its Monday, November 16 meeting.
The list of coaches approved is as follows:
+ 7th Grade Girls Basketball – Susanna Strutz, $2,450.
+ 8th Grade Girls Basketball – Mike James, $2,450.
+ Assistant One-Act Play Director – Crystal Fast, $1,100.
+ Head Speech Coach – Laurie Bartsch, $2,450.
Volunteers approved include:
+ Girls Basketball – Amber Hughes, Jayme Fast and Karla Wendt.
+ Boys Basketball – Paul Metcalf, Steve Thiessen, Mitchell Schroeder, Dan Hupp, Andrew Hempeck, Beau Herrig, Frank Mendoza and Caleb Bargen.
MLPS a Platinum Level Chamber member
Also at the meeting, board members approved the Platinum Level 2016 Mountain Lake Area Chamber of Commerce dues at a rate of $765.
In other business
+ Accepted the resignation of Rachel Herrig as a high school paraprofessional.
+ Approved the creation of a reserve account to deposit the funds from the purchase of the District Bus Fleet to Palmer Bus Service.
+ Approved MLPS Superintendent Bill Strom, MLPS Business Manager Kim Naas and MLPS District Secretary Alisa Nickel as the IOWA designees.
