Monday is MLA Lady Wolverines’ ‘Coaches vs. Cancer’ night
This Monday, October 12, is the date for the the final home C-Squad, Junior Varsity and Varsity matches of the 2015 Mountain Lake Area (MLA) Lady Wolverines’ volleyball season. Coming to town will be the Chargers of Westbrook-Walnut Grove.
It will also be celebrated as “Coaches vs. Cancer” night
The Lady Wolverines will be sporting – and selling – their new cancer fight T-shirts (design seen at right) in an effort to muster the fight to kick cancer, raise awareness for Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) – and have match wins. Two dollars from every $15 T-shirt sold will go towards and the American Cancer Society, with $1 from each sale allotted to PWS research in honor of Mountain Lake’s Kendall Marcy.
