MLHS Student Council to sponsor ‘Color-A-Thon’

The Mountain Lake Public High School (MLHS) Student Council will be hosting 1- and 3-mile Color Walks/Runs – “Color-A-Thon” on Sunday, September 27, just as the 2015 Homecoming Week gets started. Start and finish will be at MLHS. Registration will begin at 3 p.m. and the events will start at 4 p.m. The cost is $30 per participant. A post -walk/run meal will be available for $5 that will include a hot dog, chips, cookie and bottle of water. Get blasted with color as you walk/run. Profits from the “Color-A-Thon” and meal will go towards MLHS student activities to be held throughout the school year. Check back at Cross-Counties Connect to learn more about additional Homecoming activities, the King and Queen candidates and the monarch’s coronation – along with the members of their Royal Court.
