High School classes on September 1, Elementary on September 3
The 2015-2016 school year at Butterfield-Odin Public School (B-OPS) kicks off next week, with High School classes in session beginning Tuesday, September 1, and Elementary students in the classroom on Thursday, September 3.
On staff will be several new members, with position shifts for two other current employees.
New to the staff are:
+ Matt Beckendorf – Sixth Grade.
+ Emily Fridstrom – Grades 5-12 Band.
+ Jennifer Fuglsang – Food Service Staff.
+ Denise Keech – Food Service Staff.
+ Emily Kern – Title One.
+ Ben Petzel – Science.
+ Tiffany Sandbo – Social Worker.
+ Lana Sander – School Nurse (Shared with Mountain Lake Public School).
+ Alyssa Styles – Paraprofessional.
Other staff members who have made changes in their posts include:
+ Kathy Crissler – ESL (English as a Second Language)/Elementary Keyboarding.
+ Jen Harris – Third Grade.
Enrollment for the school year is projected to be 226 students in Kindergarten-through-Grade 12; 235+ for pre-Kindergarten-through-Grade 12.
