Timothy Steinle receives non-life-threatening injuries
Fifty-eight-year-old Timothy Steinle of Butterfield, Minnesota, received non-life-threatening injuries following a motorcycle/deer accident at Milepost 41 of Highway #4 of Watonwan County that occurred at 5:29 p.m. on Friday, August 14.
According to the Minnesota State Highway Patrol, the 1991 Honda Road-Street motorcycle on which Steinle was riding was southbound on Highway #4 when three deer crossed the roadway and he struck one of the deer. The driver of the motorcycle laid the bike down.
Steinle was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System-St. James by St. James Ambulance. The motorcyle received moderate damage.
Also assisting the Minnesota State Highway Patrol were the Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office and the St. James Fire Department.
