Mountain Lake native taken to Windom Area Hospital
A twenty-three-year-old Mountain Lake native, Theresa Green, was taken to Windom Area Hospital on Sunday morning, July 26, with non-life-threatening injuries following a one-vehicle accident on Highway #62 west of Windom.
Green, the driver and lone occupant of a 1997 Hyundai Tiburon TX, was traveling east on #62 at 6:12 a.m., when the Hyundai went off the right side of the road, near Cottonwood County Road #40. She was transferred by Windom Ambulance to the hospital. Green was wearing her seatbelt, airbags were deployed and there was no alcohol detected.
The Hyndai is considered a total loss.
Also assisting the Minnesota State Highway Patrol were the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office and the Windom Police Department.
