Pickup truck, passenger car collide at intersection
A 2013 Ford pickup truck driven by 72-year-old James Forman of Windom, heading east on Minnesota State Highway #60 and a 1992 Oldsmobile 88 Royale passenger car driven by James Dykstra, 62, of Butterfield, , going south on Cottonwood County Road #1, collided in a broadside-type accident at the intersection at 7:41 a.m. Monday morning, December 8, according to a report filed by the Minnesota State Highway Patrol.
Forman was transferred to Windom Area Hospital by the Mountain Lake Ambulance Squad with non-life-threatening injuries. Dykstra had no apparent injury.
Both vehicles received moderate damage.
Also assisting at the accident were the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office and the Mountain Lake Police Department.
