2014 payable in 2015 property taxes key point to meeting
Just two members of the public, both residents of the school district, were in attendance at the Truth In Taxation meeting of the Mountain Lake Public School (MLPS) School Board, held on Monday, December 1.
The key point to the meeting was the presentation of and discussion on the 2014 payable in 2015 property taxes.
Additional items on the agenda included information and discussion on December 15 and December 16 school board meetings, building committee data, report on the Minnesota State High School League’s Gender Identity policy and sharing of board members’ thoughts on matters related to a future school building project.
Action taken by the board was approval to rescind the motion made at the Monday, November 24 regular monthly school board meeting that included a statement opposing the street assessments proposed by the City of Mountain Lake.
