Mountain Lake’s Nickel Construction donates time, equipment
The dirt work began today (Monday, September 8) for leveling off the base for the outdoor ice skating rink located near Mountain Lake Public School.
Nickel Construction of Mountain Lake is donating the time and equipment to complete this project – before it is time to flood the rink in preparation to slice the new ice during another wintertime outdoor skating season.
Below are two photographs of the work, courtesy of Ken Classen. Classen, along with former Mountain Lake resident Jerry Jungers, spearheaded the rink’s rehabilitation several winters ago.
