Mountain Lake Golf Club, Mountain Lake Floral, Nancy Nelson join forces fo another creative floral project
The Mountain Lake Golf Club is serving as a sponsor for an evening of creative fall flower festivities, backed by the fresh floral specimens of Nene Smedstad’s Mountain Lake Floral and the watercolor versions to be painted by participants under the tutelage of Nancy Nelson, former Mountain Lake Public School art instructor. The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, at the Mountain Lake Golf Course Clubhouse.
Smestad will guide those attending in creating a floral design fall planter project, with Nelson following that lead, as teacher in creating individualized watercolor matted paintings of those planters.
The evening also includes snacks and wine or other beverage. The cost for the two-fer craft project is $35. Pre-paid registration can be completed at Mountain Lake Floral.
