Fall flower fest

Mountain Lake Golf Club, Mountain Lake Floral, Nancy Nelson join forces for another creative floral project

The Mountain Lake Golf Club was once again the host for a creative floral fest, this time featuring a fall planter packed with mums, kale and broom corn, courtesy of Nene Smestad of Mountain Lake Floral, followed by a watercolor matted painting of the display – plus a pumpkin – as taught by former Mountain Lake Public School art instructor, Nancy Nelson. The event was held Thursday evening, September 18, at the Mountain Lake Golf Course Clubhouse.
