Motorists traveling Minnesota State Highway #60 across Watonwan County may meet up with detours due to a project to improve the condition of the Watonwan River east of St. James, stated the Minnesota Department of Transportation. The project is slated to begin Monday, June 2.
A section of #60 between St. James and Madelia will then be closed to traffic until approximately mid-July.
Alternatives routes include Minnesota State Highway #30 and Minnesota State Highway #15, as well as Watonwan County Roads #27, #14 and #10.
