‘Community Night Out!’ activities precede Butterfield-Odin Public School Band, Choir concert
It will be a “two-fer” night in Butterfield on Monday, May 19, as local families and the greater community are invited to celebrate kids at “Community Night Out!,” followed by the Butterfield-Odin Public School Band and Choir concert.
The night out,which kicks off at 5:30 p.m. on the front lawn of the school, will feature:
*Games and entertainment.
* Face painting.
* Rides on the Butterfield Fire Department’s fire truck.
* Bike safety education (kids are encouraged to rid to the event on their bicycles and scooters).
* Student work on display (inside the school).
* A “Pie-In-The-Face” to a teacher (as yet to be determined).
* Free food – burgers, enchiladas, egg rolls and more.
* Band and Choir concert to begin in the school’s gymnasium at 8 p.m.
