MLA Wolverine Girls Softball seeded 4th in Section 2A

Face #13 Comfrey/Cedar Mountain at home on Tuesday, May 24

 

TTHE MOUNTA Mountain Lake Area (MLA) Wolverine boys basketball squads The Wolverines now stand 13-6 overall, 11-2 in the Red Rock. The club will now face Fulda on the Raiders' home court on Tuesday, February 9. Due to last week's blizzard, the already-rescheduled game due to weather with Edgerton Public will be at home on Thursday, February 11. The following day, Friday, February 12, MLA will host Murray County Central. Their regular season comes to a close against Lake Crystal/Wellcome Memorial (at Lake Crystal) on Tuesday, February 16.

 

 

The Mountain Lake Area (MLA) Wolverine Girls Softball team, sporting at 16-2 record heading into Section 2A play, will face the #13-seed, the 1-16 Comfrey/Cedar Mountain squad in a first-round game at home at Munson Field on Tuesday, May 24. First pitch will be at 5 p.m.

Both the #1-seed, undefeated New Ulm Cathedral (20-0) and #2-seed, Mankato Loyola (14-5) received first-round byes.

If MLA claims the Tuesday contest, they would face either #5 Nicollet (12-5) or #12 Minnesota Valley Lutheran-New Ulm (3-17) on their home field at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 26.
