‘Pearls are always appropriate’

Good Samaritan of Mountain Lake takes Jackie Kennedy’s words to heart

Good Samaritan Society of Mountain Lake – The Village and The Lodge – took the words of late First Lady Jackie Kennedy – “Pearls are always appropriate” – to heart during their annual Ladies Tea on Friday afternoon, May 6. The special event is traditionally held on the Friday before Mother’s Day.

The hosts for the afternoon, Administrator Anne Reese; Activity Department Staff Amber Hughes, Wendy Becker, Pam Radtke and Judy Fruehling; Front Office Alyssa Nesmoe; Human Resources Director Reva Hulzebos; Dietary Department and Volunteers Jan Stadtlander, Diane Englin and Lillian Keeling, extended Kennedy’s “pearls of wisdom” to all the women attending by presenting each with a strand of pearls – and, for all the women of The Village and The Lodge, a spring flower corsage.
