Lady Wolverines go 3-2 at Sleepy Eye Public Volleyball Tournament

The Mountain Lake Area (MLA) Lady Wolverines Varsity Volleyball squad went 3-2 in the Saturday, September 12 Sleepy Eye Public Tourney, making it to the finals.
To advance, they tripped up Lake Crystal/Wellcome Memorial (LCWM) 24-23 and 25-22 in the semis.
In that championship match, the team faced Redwood Valley, losing to the eventual champs 24-26, 16-25. Redwood Valley had earlier beat the Lady Wolves 15-25, 19-25 – accounting for their only match losses on the day.
In addition to defeating LCWM, the Maroon-and-Silver opened the day by dropping host Sleepy Eye Public by a pair of identical scores of 25-20. Their third tournament match win came over Truman, the Lady Wolves stopping the Bluejays 25-20, 25-17.
