Fourth straight appearance for MLA’s Aaron Walzak; tied for 27th, shooting an 81

FOUR THE FOURTH straight year, recent Mountain Lake Christian (MLC) grad and Mountain Lake Area (MLA) Wolverine team member, Aaron Walzak is competing in the two-day Minnesota State Class A Golf Meet, held at Becker’s Pebble Creek Golf Club today (Tuesday, June 9) and tomorrow (Wednesday, June 10). Walzak shot an 81 in his first round today, and is tied for 27th. Walzak secured the state berth by finishing second in the Section 2A Golf Meet held Monday, June 1, at North Links Golf course in Mankato – shooting at 74. He had earlier won the North Sub-Section 2A Meet by four strokes, with a 78, held at Buffalo Lake’s Oakdale Golf Club.
