Alliance to hold annual Family Fall Festival

Slated for Tuesday, October 31

The Mountain Lake Alliance Church is excited to host its annual Family Fall Festival on Tuesday, October 31, from 4:30 p.m.-7 pm. Children from birth-through-5th grade – and their families – are invited to attend this non-costume event. There will be carnival games, a balloon artist, bounce house and obstacle course and a chili supper. This year’s theme is G. L. O. W. (God Lights Our Way).

This FREE event includes a gift bag with trinkets and 10 game tickets. Additional tickets can be purchased at 10 for $1, with proceeds going toward the church’s Operation Christmas Child shoebox project.

Candice Bartel is the director of children’s ministry at Mountain Lake Alliance and said one of the highlights for her is seeing the community interaction. “It’s always so fun to see our youth connecting with the kids that come and to see families from the community chatting together.”

An addition this year will be an on-stage presentations from Luke Winger. “He’s an amazing performer and has a great heart for Jesus. We are excited to see him share his gifts of juggling and speaking with those attending,” said Bartel.

There really will be something for everyone – from infants to upper elementary. Plus, there’s chili available for the whole family. “One new thing we started last year was to make the first hour of programming allergy-friendly” said Bartel. Anyone can come, but the gym will be free from the top eight allergens for those with health concerns. After that, kids will have the option to choose from a variety of candy and trinkets. “Our goal is to share the love and light of Jesus with our community,” said Bartel.
