THE MOUNTAIN LAKE Area (MLA) Wolverine varsity volleyball team faced Red Rock Central (RRC) at Lamberton last night (Thursday, September 21), and dropped the match in three sets to the Falcons. The Wolverines dropped the first set to the home team 25-7, rebounded to rally to a 20-10 lead in the second before the Falcons came back for a 26-24 win and lost the third by a 25-16 decision. Next week – Homecoming Week at Mountain Lake Public High School – the club plays at Southwest Minnesota Christian in Edgerton on Tuesday, September 26 and comes home for a Thursday, September 28 match against Hills-Beaver Creek.
