‘Spin-tacular!’ indeed

Crevier family brings their basketball show to Mountain Lake

BRUCE AND DIANE Crevier – and their 12 children (Jacob, Caleb, Isaiah, Katie, Josiah, Hollie, Ben, Micah, Zach, Nathan, Tori and Tessa) – demonstrate their basketball skills with their Spin-Tacular Basketball Show.

It was “spin-tacular!”

Of course, that’s the name of their show – “The Spin-Tacular Basketball Show.”

Each one of the two + a dozen Creviers always brings his or her best “G (Goals) – A (Attitude) – M (Morals) – E (Excellence)” to each show. They do so because as in school, sports and life – “Champions Win The GAME” – and they love that they have the ability to share that spirited message with audiences.

The Mountain Lake Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) Family Night sponsored tonight’s (Tuesday, April 11) appearance of Bruce and Diane Crevier – and seven of their 12 children, Josiah, Ben, Micah, Zach, Nathan, Tori and Tessa – in the Mountain Lake Public School Auditorium. Not able to be on hand were Jacob, Caleb, Isaiah, Katie and Hollie.

Bruce and Diane and their children have been in over 35 countries, using their Spin-tacular Basketball Show to entertain and share a message of hope. Bruce Crevier is a “Four-Time Guinness World Record Holder” for basketball spinning and has spun as many as 21 basketballs at the same time. He also holds the endurance world record and has spun one basketball without a break for 22 hours and 12 minutes.

BRUCE CREVIER, RIGHT, opened the show with a round of basketball(s) toss with Mountain Lake Public School Activities Director/Phy Ed Teacher Luke Winger, left.

MOM DIANE CREVIER, upper right, led five of her sons – Josiah, Ben, Micah, Zach and Nathan – in a basketball dribbling pass drill.

FROM DAD (BRUCE) and mom (Diane) on down-the-line – Josiah, Ben, Micah, Zach, Nathan, Tori and Tessa. The family that unicycles together, has lots of fun together.

BEN CREVIER DEMONSTRATES a trick basketball dribble bounce and catch between-the-legs to audience volunteers as they prep to follow his lead.

A TALL AMY Kufahl even went up on her tip-toes to perform the basketball bounce drill.

KEARNEY WALL DID her best to show off her basketball skills.

THE GIRAFFE UNICYCLE was perfect for mastering the slam dunk – if only it could be snuck into the basketball game. Bruce Crevier, right, waves to the crowd from the top of his “giraffe,” while son, Josiah, left, waits in the wings on his.

STRETCHING ACROSS THE length of the gym floor on unicycles. In the center of it all is Dad (Bruce Crevier). From left, Tori, Tessa, Nathan, Zach, Bruce, Micah, Ben and Josiah.

JOSIAH CREVIER WAS clearly a multi-tasker. While pedaling high on a unicycle, he juggles three basketballs – while spinning a fourth at the point of a “tee” held in his mouth.

TORI OR TESSA? One of the twin girls – the youngest in the Crevier family – made it look easy to spin a basketball at the point of her finger – while riding a hoverboard across the floor.

BRUCE BROUGHT DOWN the house with this concluding act – spinning 12 basketballs at once.
