MLHS’ Haydn to Hip Hop class sponsoring Father/Daughter Dance
The Haydn-to-Hip-Hop class at Mountain Lake Public High School (MLHS) will be sponsoring its first annual Father/Daughter Dance on Saturday, February 11, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., in the public school’s old gym.
This event is for all young ladies preschool age to sixth grade, and their fathers or father figures (grandpa, uncle, older brother or male friend).
Cost is $8 per person with a prior RSVP by Friday, February 3, or $10 per person at the door. This cost includes the meal, Grand March, dance and formal photograph of father and daughter.
The timeline for the evening is as follows:
- 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. – Social Half Hour and Supper (punch and kid-friendly finger food meal).
- 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. – Grand March on the old gym stage. This is open to the community.
- 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. – Dance.
This is formal dress-up occasion.
