With Stanley Green, Executive Director of Mennonite Mission Network

Here’s to cooking curry with the best of them.
The opportunity will be available this weekend, with Bethel Mennonite Church in Mountain Lake as the host location. First Mennonite of Mountain Lake members will also participate. Bethel is located at 305 7th Street North.
Indian migrants brought the curry tradition to South Africa. Stanley Green, Executive Director of Mennonite Mission Network, learned to cook curry in his home country of South Africa. One thing Green enjoys doing is sharing his love for cooking curry with small groups.
Green will be at Bethel over the first weekend of Saturday, September 3 and Sunday, September 4.
During those two days, participants will have a great time assisting Green in preparing a curry meal in the Bethel kitchen on Saturday. It will also provide the perfect opportunity for fellowship, and getting to know Green at a deeper level. Serving time is set for 6 p.m.
Following the meal, a presentation about the Mennonite Mission Network from Green, along with development director, Matt Lehman Wiens, will be shared.
Even if helping cook is not an option, sign up for the Curry Supper, and to hear about Mennonite Mission Network.
On Sunday morning, Green will speak at a combined Bethel and First Mennonite worship service at Bethel, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
