SEVEN WINDOM/MOUNTAIN LAKE (W/ML) Cobra Varsity Wrestlers finished in the top 10 in today’s (Saturday, December 5) Glencoe/Silver Lake (G/SL) Tourney. Winning gold with a first-place finish was Alex Borsgard. Three Cobras wrestled to second in their weigh divisions, Brett Willaby, Evan Wiens and Yanick Tade. Zach Spinks was third, while Julio Gutierrez claimed fourth and Hunter Ekstrom, sixth. As a team, the Cobras finished fourth. On Friday, December 11, the Cobras will wrestle in the Slayton Tri, beinning at 5 p.m., followed by the Jackson County Central Tourney on Saturday, September 12, starting at 9:30 a.m. Their final meet before break is the Wabasso Tri on Tuesday, December 15, 5 p.m.
