Saturday’s visit to Mountain Lake coincides with Small Business Saturday
Santa Claus is coming to town!
This 2015 Mountain Lake Area Chamber of Commerce-sponsored Christmas Event will be held this Saturday, November, from 9 a.m. to 11::30 a.m., at Our Hometown Café.
Santa will be on hand to give hand out goodie bags to the children and take their wish lists. There will be treats and activities for all kids.
Also that morning, the raffle drawing for the Chamber’s Chamber Bucks Shopping Spree will be held at 11 a.m., also at Our Hometown Café. Buy a $10 ticket for a chance to win $500 in Chamber Bucks (1st Prize), $250 in Chamber Bucks (2nd Prize), $100 in Chamber Bucks (3rd Prize) or $50 in Chamber Bucks (4th Prize). Must be 18 to purchase a ticket. Need not be present to win. Tickets can be purchased at Mountain Lake City Hall, from Chamber Board Members or at participating businesses. All proceeds from the raffle help to pay for community activities – such as Pow Wow.
November 28 is also Small Business Saturday. Support Mountain Lake businesses by doing as much of your Christmas shopping as possible from local merchants. Every dollar spent locally helps support worker salaries, schools and helps keep Mountain Lake a vibrant community.
