Men of Good Samaritan-Mountain Lake hold Cook-Out in honor of Father’s Day
The men of The Good Samaritan Society of Mountain Lake – from both The Lodge and The Village – were feted at a special Men’s Night Cook-Out event on Friday evening, June 19, in the facility’s chapel, in an early celebration of the Sunday, June 21 Father’s Day recognition.
It was a time to honor the fathers, fathers-in-law, brothers, uncles and other V.I.P. men who are residents at the assisted-living complex or the nursing care community. On hand to celebrate with the residents were their sons, daughters, sons-in-law, brothers, nephews and other special men with close connections to the residents.
Leading the program was Pastor Merwin Dick, pastor of Lakeview Gospel Church in Mountain Lake – and chaplain at The Good Samaritan Society-Mountain Lake.
Hosting the event were Pam Radtke and Wendy Becker of the facility’s Activity Department, with the steak, twice-baked potatoes, carrots, rolls and dessert served by Collette Johnson, Director of Dietary Services.
Following is a photo gallery from the event:
