Butterfield-Odin Public High School (B-OHS) thespians, under the lead of Director Nathan Fast, took the playwright David Patrick Cook’s one-act comedy fable, “Warts and All” into competition at the Sub-Section 9A One-Act Play Festival, held this past January 31, at Springfield Public High School.

The top two plays from the festival will advance to the Section 3A contest this Saturday, February 7 at Redwood Valley Public High School in Redwood Falls. Those two plays are the first-place play, “Blues” by Mountain Lake Public High School and the second-place production presented by Jackson Public High School.

The B-OHS entry featured a cast of six that neatly folded funny into a fable with a moral message.
