Lighting up Butterfield’s Christmas tree

Santa Claus in town to do the honors

The annual Christmas tree lighting in Butterfield was held late Saturday afternoon, November 29, with Jolly Ol’ St. Nick on hand to do the honors.

A free will soup and sandwich supper followed at the Butterfield Fire Hall. Proceeds went to the Butterfield Fire Department.

In addition, Santa Claus visited with folks and fire truck rides were sponsored by the fire department.

A prize raffle closed out the evening’s activities.

The evening of events was sponsored by the Butterfield Summer Sizzler, and the following photographs are courtesy of the summer celebration’s Facebook page.
