Santa’s Workshop gave kids opportunity to buy Christmas gifts for their special people
With the help, support and donations from local businesses, vendors and individuals, area children were given the opportunity to select a Christmas gift for the special people in their lives – parents, siblings, grandparents, friends – at a Santa’s Workshop held Saturday, December 3 at The Laker Bar & Grill in Mountain Lake.
Children were able to go on a holiday shopping spree to purchase presents for those central in their lives. Most items ran for $1, there was a $3 table and a $5 gift spread.
All proceeds will be donated to kids/families in need in Mountain Lake, facilitated with the help of the public school, nursing home and Des Moines Valley Health and Human Services.
Organizers of the holiday gift-giving activity were Emily Adrian, Emily Bentson and Bethany Boldt.
