MLES Holiday Program slated for December 12

Students to share belief, ‘We All Need Peace’

THE STUDENTS OF Mountain Lake Public Elementary School (MLES) will present their Holiday Program on Monday, December 12, sharing with the audience the belief that, “We All Need Peace.” The program, to be held in the school’s auditorium, will run from 6:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. It will feature the kindergarten-through-grade six singers, as well as the fifth- and sixth-grade bands. Dancing, bell ringing, rhymes and holiday spirit are all things to be expected by those attending. Directing the program will be MLES Music Teacher Sarah Tailowright, leading grades kindergarten-through-five; Mountain Lake Public School Director of Choirs Andrea Brinkman, presenting the sixth grade and Mountain Lake Public School Director of Bands Kurt Jahnke, with the baton for the fifth- and sixth-grade bands. The program’s finale will feature a mass first grade-through-sixth grade song.
