THE MOUNTAIN LAKE Area (MLA) Wolverine boys basketball squad extended their season record to 3-0 after defeating the Fulda Raiders on-the-road by 27, winning 70 to 43. Wolverine junior Marcus Boyd led all scorers with 21 points in the Red Rock Conference win. Senior teammate Levi Stoesz chipped in 12 points, another junior, Weston Osland, laced the nets for 11 tallies and senior Aaron Fast chipped in 10. By halftime, MLA had a comfortable 17-point cushion, leading the guests 40 to 23. The Raiders, now 1-1 on the young season, had Aron Hulstein scoring 10 points; Justin Dierks, nine points along with five rebounds and Ben White scored six and grabbed eight boards. The Wolverines will host Heron/Lake Okabena on Friday, December 9.
