Contando cuentos en español (Telling tales in Spanish)

MLC’s Spanish language students bring own illustrated stories to Acacia, Oak classrooms

Four grades from Mountain Lake Christian (MLC) High School spent some time Friday, October 28 contando cuentos en español (telling tales in Spanish) to elementary students.

In the morning, the seventh- and eighth-grade Spanish class of Miriam Rojas read the stories they had written in Spanish (and translated into English) – as well as illustrated – to students in the Acacia classroom (grades one and two) of Rachel Knutson.

The freshmen and sophomores were center stage in the afternoon with their bilingual literary works in Nordis Olson’s Oak classroom (grades three and four)
