Bethel Mennonite schedules Harvest Mission Festival

Featured guest speaker to be Les Gustafson-Zook

BETHEL MENNONITE CHURCH of Mountain Lake will host their annual Harvest Mission Festival on Sunday, October 23, with a 10 a.m. worship service, and a meal celebrating the harvest to follow at 11:30 a.m. Featured guest speaker will be Les Gustafson-Zook from Goshen, Indiana. Gustafson-Zook is a storyteller, musician, long time Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) worker, bike mechanic and father. His MCC experiences have taken him through Atlanta, Georgia; Kingston, Jamaica; Portland, Oregon and now in Goshen. Les is the 2001 International Autoharp Champion and performs on a variety of traditional and unusual “homemade instruments,” singing songs and telling stories about the work of MCC. His current role with MCC is relating to constituents and serving as the North American Mennonite Relief Sale Coordinator. (Submitted photo)
